This week at the chateau, we take a look back at when we bought the crumbling Chateau de Lalacelle. Abandoned for over 40 years, this beautiful monument was in a sad state of disrepair, with crumbling chimneys, broken widows and leaking roof, the chateau did not have must life left in her. With the start of the restoration in 2021 we look through some of the massive jobs over the two years of owning a abandoned chateau in 20 minutes, the family have achieved so much in this time with beautiful finished rooms. join us on our family journey restoring this beautiful chateau to its former glory.
