It’s been a little over a decade since one of Springfield, Massachusetts’ historic Victorian homes was restored to its former glory. Built in 1882 for John A. Hall, the approx. 4,000 square foot Victorian home was later converted into the Church of the Nazarene according to Lost New England. Despite being added to the National Register of Historic Places as part of the McKnight Historic District in 1976, the home fell into a state of disrepair and sat vacant for several decades, eventually being faced with demolition before being restored in 2011! Google Streetview provided a glimpse into the home’s more recent history, showing the structure vacant and for sale, restoration beginning in 2011, and the final restored home.
