Snow leopards primarily inhabit alpine and subalpine regions of Central and South Asia, including the Himalayas, so it would make sense that they are a fan of cold things. On August 6, the TikTok account for @Tanganyikawildlifepark located in Goddard, Kansas posted a clip of their adorable snow leopard babies living their absolute hot girl summer.
Check out the following video to see these snow leopard babies enjoying a chilly ice bath!
Oh my gosh they are ridiculously adorable! We love the one who slides on the ice and how they bat the cubes around. TikTok users can’t get enough of these cold babies and @Mariaj asks what we are all thinking with, “So.. do you drive them over to my place or should I pick them up?” LOL, we would be happy to babysit these adorable animals anytime! @Julie adds, “Happy to supply them all the ice!! Just saying let me babysit.” @Melissa hilariously responds, “I need one. I have an ice maker. Lol.”
Snow leopards have vulnerable status on the International Union for Conservation of Nature list. Due to habitat loss, climate change, and poaching and illegal trade these gorgeous animals is at high risk of extinction. If you would like to make a donation to help protect snow leopard, you can visit the website for the Snow Leopard Trust here.
Even though we probably can’t babysit these snow leopard cubs, if you are ever in Goddard you can visit the park and book one of these animal experiences (Including swimming with penguins) yourself. They also have pygmy rhino and giraffe feeding stations. Visit the webpage for the Tanganyika Wildlife Park for more information.
