Built in 1909 and set on 6.4 acre estate bordered by 1,800 acres of Wissahickon Valley Park, Greylock Mansion is an impressive 16,500 square foot stone structure on the market for $1.79 million. The residence is currently vacant and in need of repairs. Originally built in 1909 by steel magnate Henry A. Laughlin, the stone exterior was quarried on site to construct this marvel. The main house stands on a wide terrace with floor footprint sizes between 5,000 and 3,290 square including the walk out basement floor which has usable desirable ceiling heights. The grand covered entrance opens to the gorgeous marble tiled floors of the grand hall of the house and gives a clear span view to the other side of the house and its giant entertaining patio.
